Yogscast: Civilization V

It's a small world after all. On the tiniest map yet, Lewis, Duncan, Rythian, Daltos and Kirsty fight over what little land there is, and battle for supremacy!

The Duncan/Rythian War is definitely going better for one side than it is for the other. Meanwhile, the discussion turns to what has happened to the language of our times.

When one war ends, another begins! With tight spaces come angry faces, so it's war for some resources - or maybe everyone who went full Honor just wants any excuse.

Everyone is hunting barbarians now, with the lovely Honor rewards. Will we go one episode without war this series? Well, if people can stop being sneaky little sneaks, then maybe.

As things calm down a little bit, there's time for some random banter. Everyone's upgrading their cities, or getting new ones - sometimes at the expense of the city-state "friends".

Duncan's religion is starting to spread across the tiny land, but surprisingly most people seem chill about it. Maybe Mr. Lama raises some good points. Particularly since Lewis hasn't bothered building Shrines. Like, at all.

Ah, the legend of the Malcolm-at-sea, the greatest city that was, is, will be. Or maybe never was, isn't, or ever won't be? It's a confusing tale, for certain. But wouldn't it be cool though?

Wonders are getting snapped up, and a gameplan is being formed for a couple of players. But should anyone be worried that Lewis, with already by far the most soldiers, just picked up Terracotta Army? Hmmm...

There's a lot of wonders to grab, and some people are getting a lot of them, and some people are getting... none of them. Meanwhile, a Frank warrior (not to be confused with a warrior named Frank) from the Ancient Era is checking out all these people with "muskets" whatever they are.

With only one POV to use for this episode, we'll get a close up (and extra long!) look at just how well Lewis is doing. Is his victory inevitable?

With the science leaders in the game shooting up in score, there's only one option for those lagging behind - SPIES! Time to send in the legendary Viper the Sniper. And when they die... send in some other scrub right after them.

It's been peaceful for a surprisingly long while, but WAR is finally HERE! And everyone seems really chill about it, especially the religious (?) journalists who jump straight to the frontlines to report back to everyone about what's going on.

Lewis and Daltos are fighting to a standstill, and Daltos's call for allies seem to fall on deaf ears. Seem to, at least. Are there private messages being sent back and forth? Surely not, people wouldn't just be sneaky like that.

A full on FOUR versus ONE! Unfair - sure. Necessary - definitely. Can Lewis stand up against every single other player in the game? We're about to find out!

The war continues as the unstoppable force of four combined armies goes up against the immovable object that is Lewis the Mighty. Cities may fall, but is there infighting at hand inside the Giga-Alliance?

The aftermath of the brutal war means life is rough for the citizens of the losing side, but there's always a path to victory, the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism... SPACE!

It's absolutely anyone's game, be it culture or science, but the nukes are flying, the submarines are blasting, and the GIANT DEATH ROBOTS are walking the earth. Who's winning this one?!
