Not only is Aaron dominating the track in his division, but he’s also one of the most versatile skaters on the floor—rhythm, jam, shuffle—you name it, he does it, and he does it well. What makes Aaron even more special is the contrast between his calm, humble vibe off the floor and the sheer confidence and skill he brings when he’s skating. He’s truly one of the best we’ve ever seen. You’re gonna love this episode.

Gary Ballesteros is an OG Florida skater who now resides in Michigan. If you know Gary, you know when it comes to his skates, he takes major pride in quality & style. Catch him at any event & invariably you’ll see skaters from everywhere checking out his multiple forward mount setups. Beyond his own skates, Gary contributes to the skate world as a regular attendee & supporter of events all over the U.S. He’s one of a handful of skaters that I can say I see every time I’m at an event. Additionally, Gary is now in the works of planning his own Michigan event with details to come. As if that wasn’t enough, Gary is also a founding member of the Michigan Rink Rats which is one of the largest Facebook skate groups around. After founding the group, Gary & other OG members travel the shuffle event circuit spreading the word & promoting the all-inclusive ideology of their Skate Crew. Want a Michigan Rink Rat shirt? Dalton White aka Foot Loose Moose, originally from the Gainesville, Florida area now resides in Ohio. As a regular skater of the one of the most beloved rinks in the U.S. Castle Skate Land, Dalton is also a staple of the annual Fly’n Over the Castle Walls Event. Dalton is known for an individual skate style & it is truly unique. Check out my conversation with Dalton as tells me about skating & the other skaters have impacted his life for the better!

Grant Hendrix is one of the youngest but also one of the most recognizable faces on the shuffle event scene today. When it comes to widely-attended shuffle events, he might be the youngest ever to have an event hosted in his honor. As a regular at Skate Country Buford, Grant has had major exposure based on the highly viewed influencers that also call the same rink home. As a feature in numerous videos, he is one of the reasons for their viral success. In addition to the a regular at numerous well known shuffle events, Grant has also found success as a competitive speed skater which he says he will return to eventually. The Hendrix family as a whole maintains a special place in the hearts of so many skaters that have had the chance to meet them. So many that have come back to skating will tell you time and again how their genuine kindness and welcoming nature is a huge reason they kept coming. I hope you enjoy my conversation with Grant!
