Destination Michigan

In the Upper Peninsula, winter gets done right. Whether out on the trails or out on the ice, there is plenty to see and do in this yooper winter wonderland. Come along with us as we head north bound for the Keewenaw with stops in Marquette and Houghton. We’ll hike extensive trail networks, take in a hockey game, get some good pets in with some champion sled dogs and much more.

We’ll be taking a dive into what it’s like to be a Michigan farmer. Over 50,000 farms are scattered across Michigan cultivating around 300 different products. That makes Michigan one of the most agriculturally diverse states in the nation. Farms are a major contributor to the state's economy, but there’s more to the story than that.

This episode is about stuff. All kinds of stuff. And the people who collect it. Meet a Ludington man with a passion for the pigskin that inspired his high school helmet collection. In Traverse City, pinheads are partaking in their favorite pastime. We’ll also take a peak into the past with postcard Wally and wrap things up with a vintage-inspired visit to Retro Attics Studio Bay City.

Tag along with the crew and pay a visit to the places they grew up. Chris Ogozaly visits the nearly 100-acre Greenmead Historical Park. From there, we head over to West Michigan where "Camera Guy Adam" takes us to Nelis' Dutch Village. After that, Stefanie Mills visits the annual Manchester Chicken Broil. Wrap things up with Matt Ozanich at Jackson Field for a Lansing Lugnuts game.
