Filmed in color. This initial 15 minute unaired pilot for the series sees Marilyn being escorted home after a night out and her would-be beau being frightened off when he comes within view of Marilyn's Uncle Herman and Aunt Phoebe. Grandpa heads to his lab to enact a love potion that will entice whomever Marilyn should want, despite her appearance.

It's interesting to learn that "The Munsters" was initially going to be a cartoon, until Universal heads decided that live action was the way to go. Unsold pilot for a series that NBC passed on. Grandpa Sam Dracula is essentially Dracula who assembled Herman because no man was good enough for his daughter Lily. Lily's niece Marilyn, the freak, is actually normal and Lily and Herman's only child, Eddie, has his werewolf tendencies surface in puberty, forcing the family to relocate to their famous 1313 Mockingbird Lane address.
