Santa Cruz del Islote has an area of just one percent of a square kilometer in size where 816 people squeeze their entire lives. The island is so full that a guy does his daily workout routine near a dog feces and chaotic life here creates new adaptations. Since we arrived on the island, we’ve been constantly encountering people no matter where we turn. People come out from every corner. It’s impossible to be alone on these crowded streets. Each house here has dozens of people living together in tiny rooms. Ruhi: How many people live in this room? Woman: About ten. This is an average room of an average house, you will be shocked when you see how other people live. But these people have a much bigger problem than these houses which makes life so extremely terrible here. Welcome to the most densely populated island on Earth.

The Hadza, the most primitive tribe living on earth. They are hunter gatherers just like our ancestors were thousands of years ago. Deep into the wild savannah, where uncertainty awaits behind every bush, they chase rock hyraxes, antelopes and baboons. The Hadza tribe has been living near Lake Eyasi in Northern Tanzania for over 50,000 years and only made first contact with the modern world around 150 years ago. They speak Hadzane, a unique language with clicks. For the next 3 days, I’ll be a part of their tribe and witness their way of life.

Aerogel is the lightest and lowest-density solid in the world. It’s a gel composed of 99.8% air. Looking like frozen smoke, this material is almost as light as air itself. It’s only 1.74 grams. It’s so light that even soap bubbles can lift it. On top of that, this dust also forms new non-brittle foam-like aerogel composites, which can be utilized in extreme applications requiring protection. Being 3 centimeters tall, this species is twice as large as the average worker honey bee and has long stingers that can easily penetrate clothing. If there’s anything more exciting than mad honey itself, it’s surely the way of harvesting it. Grayanotoxins come from the nectar of rhododendron flowers that bloom in the Himalayas, and it takes about 4 million flower visits for bees to make just 1 kilogram of honey. An average worker bee produces only 1/20th of a tablespoon of honey in its entire lifetime. This honey doesn't have an antidote; most of the time, the body can tolerate it, but there are rare cases where it has caused heart failure. Before even considering tasting it, it's best to stick to your doctor’s recommendations. This honey isn’t easy to come by.
