Iceland with Alexander Armstrong

Presenter Alexander Armstrong begins his Icelandic adventure by observing an erupting volcano and learning about people's beliefs in elves, fairies and trolls.

Alexander goes north from Reykjavík to Húsavík port for some whale watching. He also boards a small fishing boat and learns how Icelanders prepare Greenland shark before eating it. Then Alexander meets Iceland's finest knitter.

On Alexander's last day in Iceland, he visits the boiling mud and lava flows of southern Iceland before ascending a frigid glacier and enjoying a seafood lunch.
