Anna and Philipp discover some unwanted wildlife in their chimney and finally move into the renovated top floor apartment of the chateau. Donna and Paul start work on their Victoria Suite and its lush en-suite bathroom. However, Paul's not so sure about the décor.

Cameras also return to Chateau de la Ruche, where Tim and Rebecca's gite conversion has moved on to the next stage.

Tim and Krys embark on a massive, exciting new venture as they leave their old chateau and start work on an abandoned and forgotten building that had been taken over by squatters. Tim and Sasha try to create a winding `path of discovery' through their massive bamboo forest to reveal a hidden view.

Matt and Helen introduce a touch of the UK with an English bandstand - only to find it has arrived as a flatpack. Ben and Billie begin renovating their 19th-century ballroom.

Abbie, Clive and Karen get inventive with the bar area in their function rooms and their top-of-the-range LED dance floor arrives, while Edward faces his fears as he attempts to fell a 100ft oak tree that is threatening to damage the building.

As Angela and Steve come to the end of their wine store conversion, they get inventive to safely install the heavy three-metre-high double doors and have some creative ideas for the interior. Arguments bubble as the finish line comes into sight for Abbie, Clive and Karen's function rooms. Near Bordeaux, Edward tries to help Anna learn new DIY skills as they try to make glossy entrance signs for their chateau.

Debbie and Nigel think creatively when it comes to fixing a wonky fireplace. In the far south, Sasha creates a xeriscape garden with her daughter, Lily, while Tim embarks on a challenging and unusual project to build a vast tunnel to provide shade for flowers entirely out of bamboo.

Belinda and Lee clash over the lighting for their gallery space, Tim gets creative with Sasha's bamboo tunnel and Stephanie plans to transform a fishing pond into a swimming pool.

The discovery of an old postcard inspires Janet and Philip to rebuild a lost turret. Donna and Paul think laterally when they decide to reinstate a statement window.

Questions are raised in the south of France when mortar refuses to set during Janet and Philip's ambitious turret project. At Chateau Lagorce, Anna and Edward hope to make the dream of their six-year-old son Charles a reality when they try to build a tree house on a grand scale. Plus, Ben and Billie's ballroom restoration project reaches the decoration stage - meaning Billie must face to her fear of heights to paint the ceiling.

It's a huge day at Chateau de la Fare when Janet and Philip's new turret is finally ready to have its spire installed. The pressure builds in the run-up to the reveal event where they've invited the local mayor. Having struggled with months of delays caused by the winter floods, Julia's new pool is nearing completion and she's determined to bring her artistic talents to the project.
