Alone in the Wilderness (2017)

Patrick, who was born in the United States and is a former US Navy soldier, lives out the boy's dream in his hiking boots through the mountains, while his wife Danielle waits impatiently in camp. Cycling friends Emil and Nicklas itch in high spirits, but are struck by hunger and thirst along the way. The spiritual couple Martha and Camilla gain a connection to nature, but the hike erodes Camilla's strength.

New partners are ready for the ultimate test in the Norwegian wilderness. The couple from Værløse are challenged, while Caspar feels lonely in the habitat, Victor is physically pressured during the hike. 62-year-old father Carl is in his element when it comes to setting up camp, and he looks forward to getting closer to his son Mark when they are reunited. Ann longs for water as she struggles her way through the mountains towards her boyfriend Bjørn.

The mates are in the process of establishing themselves in the wilderness. While friends Caspar and Victor have big ambitions for their upcoming shelter, it's all about to go up in smoke with Nicklas and Emil. With the couple Danielle and Patrick, the big question is how the collaboration should work?

The spiritual couple Martha and Camilla hold a new moon ceremony with new goals and intentions. Caspar reflects on his career choice, while Victor misses family and sends loving thoughts home. Patrick builds a bridge to optimize fishing and his wife Danielle begins to feel at ease in the wilderness.

Martha feels the wilderness erode both body and soul, so her wife Camilla tries to reverse the depressed mood. With friends Nicklas and Emil, there is good energy, but is the body still trying to tell them something else? The cool weather makes it hard to keep Danielle in the mood, and her husband Patrick has to come up with new solutions.

Smoke in the cabin requires more rebuilding and a lot of effort on the part of the couple Ann and Bjørn. Emil and Nicklas are pressured on physics and resort to a common motto that lifts morale. Meanwhile, the universe sends messages to the spiritual couple Martha and Camilla, and they get the finishing touches on their house altars with a very special sponge.

The wilderness erodes both body and soul, and the remaining couples struggle to persevere. One of the finalists gets sluggish and has to stay in the sleeping bag while the partner tries to keep his spirits up. In another couple, the lack of food grows so much that they go on a rampage in the terrain in hopes of finding something other than fish. The question is; who can stand the distance and take from there as winners of Alone in the Wilderness?
