Elín reveals to Vala that she has been diagnosed with cancer, and Júlíana discovers that she's not pregnant as she thought, but facing a completely different situation.

Vala sends a message to her father in Denmark, while Júlíana becomes increasingly fed up with Tommi's old-fashioned ways.

Vala, Júlíana, and Elín travel to Denmark to meet Vala's father. Vala is determined to support her mother in her fight against cancer in an original way.

Angry with her mother, Vala moves in with Júlíana and Tommi. Júlíana and Vala attend a meeting with Síminn to produce a second season of their show, "Þær Tvær."

Vala and Arnar struggle to communicate after the previous day's events, and are exacerbated by what they hear at a parent-teacher conference at the kindergarten. Meanwhile, Tommi's attempts to cheer up Júlíana are unsuccessful.
