When Sunday's plan to celebrate Christmas in Kenya fails, he must experience a real Danish Christmas for the first time. FC Fredericia holds their annual Christmas fundraiser, and since a trip is raffled off to the person who collects the most money, Sunday sees the chance to come home to Kenya for the Christmas holidays anyway. But the day, and not least the evening's Christmas lunch at the local inn, develop somewhat differently than he had expected.

Sunday is faced with experiencing his first ever Danish Christmas Eve, but when Frederik and the family are stranded on Zealand, he has to provide the Christmas food himself. At the same time, he does everything he can to cheer Jørgen up, but it turns out to be more difficult than he had just imagined. Because Jørgen has just lost his mother, who otherwise has been Santa Claus for him since he was a boy. Luckily, Sunday has an idea.

It is time for the annual Halloween match between FC Fredericia and Middelfart Boldklub. While Sunday struggles to find a creepy costume so he can win the prize for best costume, Jonas goes all in to win the trophy and the right to mock the arch-rivals from Middelfart. But the day doesn't go quite as planned, when one of the team suddenly disappears, so Frederik, Jonas and Sunday have to travel to Middelfart to get him back. Bent Åge has high hopes for the day. He has his annual Halloween date with the female director of Middelfart Boldklub. So he is somewhat disappointed when he discovers that the club has got a new director. On the other hand, Birgit is happy about it, as the new male director is a real charmer, who invites her to dinner and a hotel - much to Bent Åge's annoyance. At home, Frederik and Lisbeth bet on who can scare the other. Unfortunately for Frederik, Lisbeth does not prove to be so easy to scare.

Jørgen has been kidnapped by the Middelfart players, who want the trophy back that Jonas has stolen. So Sunday, Jonas and Frederik agree to make an exchange - the trophy for Jørgen. But it doesn't quite go according to plan. Birgit has gone to a hotel with the director from Middelfart, but Bent Åge has no intention of them having a nice evening. Frederik has plans to frighten Lisbeth, who, however, does not prove to be quite easy to frighten.

When a swindler takes over FC Fredericia, the club is suddenly in its worst financial crisis ever. Sunday also has a crisis, as the summer house he has bought for his mother is also in danger. So while Sunday, Frederik, Jonas and Maria decide to make a big screen event for the whole city on the occasion of the World Cup to raise some quick money, Bjarne sets about finding a new investor for the club.

Sunday and Jonas struggle to get the big-screen event up and running, but the power supply fails. So they have to "borrow" some electricity from the local nursing home, which turns out to be not entirely easy. Bjarne has succeeded in finding a possible investor, but in return has promised that Kasper Hjulmand will visit the stadium. But how do you persuade Hjulmand that the evening ends somewhat differently than planned, so that FC Fredericia will succeed in surviving

Sunday has been looking forward to New Year's in Denmark, but when Bent Åge receives a surprising message from his doctor, the New Year's celebration takes a completely unexpected turn. Bent Åge's bucket list leads them on the trail of both bosses from the past and an old flame he hasn't seen in 50 years. At the stadium, Bjarne is dying at the prospect of another boring New Year's Eve with the sponsors, but suddenly an opportunity appears to get away from FC Fredericia completely.

Sunday has set out to help Bent Åge make the most of the New Year's Eve, which may turn out to be his last. This has led them to Falster, where Bent Åge seeks out an old flame that he regretted leaving more than 50 years ago. At home in Fredericia, Bjarne gets the chance to come to a bang of a New Year's party, which can also be his ticket away from FC Fredericia. Unfortunately, the evening does not develop quite as Bjarne had hoped.
