The sun is baking over North Jutland. Jørgen and Nikolaj have gone to Sæby to catch Denmark's most dangerous fish. But the two friends quickly discover that it is not just the poisonous greater weever they have to watch out for in North Jutland. Dangers lurk everywhere. With a mixture of preparation and courage, the fishing can begin. And if you don't succeed in getting a greater weever on the hook, the menu is on cod heads.

It is autumn in Denmark. Jørgen and Nikolaj have set up camp on Omø, where there is an obligation to greet the locals. The dream is to get a fallow deer in the pot. Transported in a tractor, the hunt can begin. But the fallow deer has big ears and hears well. So it's about getting ahead in the terrain. Otherwise, the two boys are forced to cook and eat an old sour rooster.

Jørgen and Nikolaj have gone to Zimbabwe. Here they will try to take down the shy Egyptian goose with a saloon rifle. But the Egyptian goose lives among hippos and crocodiles. So the boys must beware if it is only goose that is to be consumed. Especially because they have invited the local residents to the big Danish summer party. And because the alternative this time is completely sneaky worms.

Jørgen and Nikolaj's journey continues in Zimbabwe. The two friends decide to see the beauty in an animal that many otherwise think is ugly. This time it is the wildebeest they hope to sink their teeth into. It will turn out that the hunt for the wildebeest is going to require the best of the two buddies, if the teeth are not instead to be sunk into a playful little fur animal, which claimed to be related to the elephant.

The cold bites in Greenland. And Jørgen and Nikolaj have pitched their tent on the Greenlandic ice. It is with the hope of getting the delicious halibut on the hook. Fishing from the ice requires raw strength and a special technique. Fortunately, they are helped to complete the mission by a local prisoner. But ice fishing is a cold discipline, so the question is whether they have what it takes to succeed. Or whether they should instead serve slimy eel tusks to their new friend.

The Greenlandic spring sun has lured the seals onto the ice. This is good news for Jørgen and Nikolaj. They dream of getting a seal in the pot. But before the hunt can begin, Jørgen and Nikolaj have to try out the age-old techniques of seal hunting. If they pass the test, they can be allowed to hunt for a seal. So it isn't just like that. Because if they don't hit a seal, the menu is on stingrays with leathery skin and prickly spines.

Jørgen and Nikolaj have pitched their tent in the Southern Jutland countryside. In the service of a greater cause, they will lend a hand in the regulation of the invasive marten-dog from Asia. The raccoon is unwanted in Denmark and must therefore be combated with night binoculars, feeding and traps. The two friends take on the intruder on a night hunt. But the raccoon is cunning and if not succesful, the old red fox must be cooked.

It's summer at Skjern Å. Jørgen and Nikolaj dream of catching a big fat salmon. Armed with both a spinner and an earthworm, the line can be cast into the water. But the salmon does not eat in the summer heat - it must be provoked to bite. If the two friends want to be a part of the West Jutland salmon adventure, they have to make a lot of effort. And if they can't do it, then it's very small goldfish that have to be on the plate.
