Two former hunter soldiers and a former frogman have designed a unique aspirant course that gives an insight into what it takes to become an elite soldier. 12 men are selected to try their hand at the course for eight days, and from the first second they are exposed to chaos, cold and war-like conditions. The three instructors push the aspirants to the limit to see who is made of the right stuff. The few aspirants who complete the course receive no prize - only an appreciative handshake.

It is early morning when the aspirants are awakened after the first night in the forest. Several have to give up and hand in their number, and the hard start is blamed. Can the other aspirants stay free from the instructors' 'shit list'? Agility and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure is the headline for a tough exercise where several aspirants find it difficult to carry their share of the burden. As darkness falls, the aspirants have to try their hand at a frogman exercise for the first time, and they are challenged both in and under the water.

The aspirants have a tough day ahead of them, where even the most hardy in the group will be pushed to the limit. Only those with the strongest will make it through the day. There are grueling exercises on the beach and in the cold West Sea right from the morning, and aspirant 12 in particular comes under the instructors' spotlight. Later in the day, the aspirants will be sent into a mud fight, where they will need all their raw strength. The day ends on a reaction course where the aspirants fight against opponents with and without weapons.

The infamous gravel pit puts the aspirants to a tough test and makes them wiser about their own strengths and weaknesses. For some aspirants, however, the day has serious consequences. The aspirants must also try their hand at another frogman exercise, the cross-border "prisoner of war" swim. An exercise that is especially challenging for aspirant 10. The aspirants are exposed to an exhausting midnight race with an inflatable boat, where especially aspirant 12 has something to prove. And then the instructors decide which aspirants have what it takes to continue.

The instructors know the aspirants well now and work purposefully with them. Aspirant 04 in particular has difficulty keeping track of important elements in the military world. Therefore, he gets a unique reward that pushes him to the limit. The aspirants come to the shooting range for the first time and must learn to handle weapons under pressure. Towards evening, the aspirants leave their familiar camp and continue into hostile territory, where they have to cope for the last two days.

With five aspirants left, the separation begins in earnest - and it begins early in the morning. Here, the aspirants are hunted by hunterforce and must use everything they have learned on the course to stay focused on the task. In the next phase, the aspirants are tested on a course on land and in water, where aspirant 05 in particular has difficulty controlling his psyche after many days of physical pressure. At night, the aspirants have to find their way through dense forest only with the help of map and compass. A task that is particularly difficult for aspirant 01.

There is only one day left before the aspirants have completed the course, but it will be the hardest day of their lives. They must find all the willpower they can and motivate themselves. Only in this way can they complete a long march by the North Sea - in the middle of the night and against the wind. It costs the place for an aspirant who loses motivation. The final self-confidence test awaits - and with it the opportunity to pass the course. It will be a day that the aspirants will not soon forget. Who is made of the right stuff?
