When they formed in 2001, it didn’t take Las Vegas band The Killers long to establish a fan base in the UK. They even took their name from the logo of a fictitious band in the video for the New Order song, ‘Crystal’. But, according to frontman Brandon Flowers, they struggle in the US ‘because we never stick to a particular sound. Radio stations never know what we are going to give them.’
The band has been in the studio recently recording songs for their fifth album. Nominated for seven Grammy awards, they recently performed at the 90,000 capacity Wembley stadium. The crowd at T in the Park are bound to make more noise, though, when The Killers hit the stage for their fifth T appearance.
