Gravel voiced front man Kelly Jones and his cohorts honed their sound in Welsh working men's clubs and first exploded into the charts at the tail end of Brit-pop in 1997. Since then the band have received a plethora of awards and to date have achieved a total of ten top-ten singles. On the release of their 2007 studio album Pull the Pin they became only the eighth group to achieve five consecutive UK number one albums.
