Kirstie and Phil go searching for homes in pricey Surrey, for a couple of newly-weds renting in East Horsley and a retired couple who are marooned in the downsizing doldrums

Location, Location, Location returns for a new series on the cusp of a brand new year. In Birmingham, Kirstie Allsopp helps sewing blogger Elle and her fiance Ed, who have seen 52 properties and still can't find the perfect pad. Phil Spencer helps Ben and Laura, who are relocating from Bristol to Birmingham. It's Phil's job to find them a property where they won't be stuck in suburbia.

Kirstie Allsopp searches north east London for ballet dancer Nicol and his brother Harry. They're joining together to get on the property ladder. But even pooling their funds won't get them into Hackney or Hoxton, so it's off to Walthamstow and Leyton. Phil Spencer helps Tinder success story Hiren and Priyanka, who have been searching for a home for a year following a whirlwind romance.

Kirstie Allsopp goes on a property hunt in the trendy suburb of Heaton, in Newcastle, for Tom and Liz - who are fed up renting flats and want to find a home worth forking out for. Phil Spencer is in the Tyne Valley with Michael and Sorrel, who have been searching for two years to find a family home. Having lost out on a house last minute, the couple now only have two months on their rental until they and their four-month-old baby are homeless.

In London, Phil Spencer catches up with Krystle and Sam, who wanted a fun party pad near the river, and Jason and Jaye, who found Clapham beyond their budget.

Phil catches up with Andy and Jen, whose different approaches to house-hunting were causing them problems, and Rich and Debs, who moved away from London for a life by the sea
