In the first episode of Tonight's Live, brand new host Xander De Rycke talks about the making process of his first talk show. Radio producer Peter Van de Veire will come along and we will try to make a fifteen year old feud. The legend Urbanus himself is a guest with stories about his early years in comedy and together we watch the very first Urbanus cartoon. We also get a visit from Henk Rijckaert with a piece from his new show Maker. And The Van Jets frontman Johannes Verschaeve brings us a reggae-cover and David Lynch-tribute. In the third episode Xander can hardly focus on the monologue because one of the biggest franchises of all time is coming to an end. Actress Maaike Cafmeyer comes along and they share horror stories about their recently obtained driver's license. Professor at the Catholic University of Wachtebeke Lieven Scheire leaves some DNA in the show and entomologist Peter Berx introduces some of his little friends. William Boeva treats us to a piece from his last show Reset and we go out with music by Jan De Smet and Jean Blaute.

In the fourth episode Xander finally went to the Efteling and brought his pictures with him. Actress Lynn Van Royen comes along and we discuss all her projects including her dark past as 'Teenager Mother'. Minister of Culture and Media Sven Gatz finds in his busy diary a place to go to the Minard and he treats us to some fresh drinks. Despite a vestimental problem, Jens Dendoncker brings us a piece from his performance Bang Van Dendoncker and top talent Dvtch Norris warms us up for his summer tour.

In the fifth episode of Vanavond Live, Xander hardly has time for a decent monologue because the show is overcrowded! TV-maker Steven Van Herreweghe will come by to share his love for children's television and nostalgia. Belpop connoisseur and walking music omnibus Jan Delvaux takes us to the Meetjesland of yesteryear and illustrates exactly what 'doing a Delvauxke' is. Humour legend and primordial power Jacques Vermeire has once again shown us his collection of stories and his wallet! Emerging talent and recent winner of Humo's Comedy Cup Amelie Albrecht will be able to take that winning set over and classroom box Frank Vander Linden will treat us to a few songs.
