Sander is promoted, and his replacement is an illegal immigrant from Ghana named Kofi. Winston immediately bonds with Kofi, to Mo's dismay. Mo and Patrick try to bully Kofi away. Claudia has a romantic encounter with an escaped patient from a mental hospital. It is Father's Day, and Goran is all wound up and accidentally knocks out Ali's lenses. The Chef may not be entirely cured of his insanity. Femke wants to marry Kofi so he can become a legal citizen.
