It is the mid 1970s and the beginning of a new Cirkusrevyen season. Preben Kaas is having trouble with the revue's main attraction, Dirch Passer and choreographer Tutter has to find the right dancers in order to both entertain and titillate the audience. For Sussie, a former competition dancer, it is essential for her to get the job that could change her life.
