Nationally and internationally recognized for its shows, the Marionetas de la Esquina company presents dramatic texts and plastic proposals to children, for 45 years.

Founded by Pilar Gadea in 2000, the Cello Ensemble is made up of children from the age of five, motivated by their love for music and this instrument. "Los Chelos de Hamelin" have been presented in important forums, such as the Festival del Centro Histórico, el Museo Papalote, el Anfiteatro Simón Bolívar del Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso, la Feria Internacional del Libro Infantil y Juvenil, among others, where they perform Traditional Latin American and Latin American melodies, as well as works by baroque and contemporary composers.

From a Mixtec mother and Scottish-American father, Lila sings in Spanish, English and several Native American languages, such as Zapotec, Mixtec, Nahuatl, Mayan, and Purépecha. She is one of the most recognized Mexican singers today: she has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards, of which she has won six. In her compositions, she combines diverse genres and rhythms, such as rancheras, corridos, boleros, jazz standards, hip-hop, cumbia and American popular music, and her lyrics focus on justice, immigration, and women's problems.
