An Italian prisoner is wrongly accused of taking part in the murder of a warder at Maldara Prison Farm during an escape. The actual murderer, George Mason, escapes and terrorises the people of the surrounding district. Note: One of two episodes with the title 'On The Run', the other being episode 497.
