A well planned bank robbery linked with a double murder in a country farm house provides a gruelling initiation into the Homicide squad for Sen. Det. Phil Redford. Barnes receiving his police Valour Medal (for defusing a bomb strapped to the chest of a criminal, as occurred in the previous episode) was filmed at an actual police ceremony, the segment being shot at the end of the proceedings.
