Sen. Det. David Mackay, recently demoted from Sergeant due to a report by Det. Sgt. Bronson, joins the Homicide squad. Mackay is in trouble immediately when he is caught breaking into a shop. Fraser is promoted to Senior Detective and transferred to another squad.
