Felix’s mistress leaves him a note encouraging him to find food himself today. Felix is unable to milk a cow, then drinks a baby’s milk bottle after a lengthy, unsuccessful Skiddoo chase. Felix does save the mouse from drowning in a liquor basin, though, and makes him promise to return as later Felix’s supper course -- promise Skiddoo breaks.
