Special Agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent to an isolated village in Europe to rescue Ashley Graham, the daughter of the President of the United States, who has been kidnapped. Leon discovers that the villagers have been infected by a mysterious parasite and have joined a cult, forcing him to confront threats far more dangerous than traditional zombies.
