Jack hides in a barn with Hawk after stealing stock certificates. Hawk manipulates him into staying, claiming Jennifer could be charged as an accessory. Jennifer panics, contacts Mickey, the SEC, and police, and learns Jack stole from Vern. Jack dreams of being hanged with Jennifer as Harper and Duke condemn him, then realizes her love is all he has left and vows to change. Connor is arrested for stealing $3,000 from Julie’s safe, but Molly refuses to believe it, angering Tanner, who admits there’s another woman. Molly later sees him with Ginger, confirming her fears. Brian asks Ginger out but is stood up when she meets Tanner. Ginger struggles with her Spectator ad placement. Mickey and Maggie grow closer as he asks her out.
