Roman and Bo investigate Marlena's disappearance by exploring airline records and Victor's Miami connections. During hypnosis, Marlena recalls hearing Spanish voices and a man calling her "Doc" ”she's convinced it was Roman, though she couldn't see him. A mysterious prisoner in a foreign clinic is beaten by guards and shown a TV broadcast of Marlena reunited with Roman; the man is revealed to be the real Roman, who cries out "Doc!" Victor pressures Carly to move to Greece with him, but she refuses and secretly meets Bo on the loft rooftop, where they embrace while Victor watches from a nearby building. Shane and Kayla enjoy a romantic dinner, though Kayla worries about Kim's presence in their lives. Kim reveals she visited Lawrence and received a dead rose; Shane angrily forbids further contact. Marlena allows the twins to call her "mom," emotionally accepting her role as their mother. Roman advises Marlena against further hypnosis, concerned it will cause her pain.
