Coke and Matilde's marital problems are at a critical juncture. Following Jaime's advice, he decided to leave home so that the distance would help them miss each other. The hardest part of all was breaking the news to his children. Knowing the delicate nature of the news, Coke trusted Domingo to help Ponchi better process this new family situation. Meanwhile, the growing closeness between Manuel and Javiera is causing Teresa discomfort. She's already shown her jealousy, although she doesn't want to admit it herself. During the night, Jaime's daughter tried to send several apologetic messages to her ex to make it clear it was a misunderstanding. The problem is, she couldn't. Instead, her mother, Perla, called from abroad to tell her how much fun she's having at her spiritual courses and how much she needs her ex-husband to send her another remittance.
