With two prospective renters competing for the property, Si-ra borrows money from Ms. Cha and pays back Deok-gil first. Ki-bun and Min-bo show up at Marie's house and convince Soon-ae to rent out the room to Min-bo. But Soon-ae is reluctant and keeps Min-bo from breaking the news to Si-ra. Meanwhile, Marie and Do-ki have an unpleasant first encounter at the convenience store.
