Lauren dreams of a career in the Army, where she would get help with childcare, and 40-year-old Joanne is struggling to heat the home she shares with her eight-year-old daughter. Craig has only recently taken sole responsibility for his daughter after the end of his relationship, while clairvoyant and mother-of-six Sue is planing a council house swap - but competition is fierce.
