How to make Butyric Acid (Grignard Reaction) (2014x36)

The bromopropane that I used was made in this video: http://youtu.be/9eaWqvZZcig In this video I will be demonstrating the Grignard reaction to produce butyric acid. The Grignard reaction is a very interesting reaction which can be used to form new carbon-carbon bonds. The final yield was 2.66g of butyric acid, or about 49%.
