Koganeis' fight with the Joker begins but the Joker gives up so Kurei can fight Recca. With Recca still not back from training the others battle Kurei four on one. Recca appears just in time to save Koganei. Recca and Kurei finally begin their fight. During the fight Recca simultaneously summoned all 7 dragons in order for Resshin, the 8th dragon to appear. But it turned out to be a whammy since he came to bear witness the fight between Recca and Kurei.
