With no way of knowing which surrogate is carrying which couple's baby, everyone is forced to flee the clinic in a convoy led by Ravalet, now a DGSE agent. The presence of ex-minister Alexandre Le Quellec makes the fate of these citizens an important issue for the French state. A plane is sent to take them back to safety.
