Kyoya finally gets to battle Ryuga, determind to avenge Tsubasa who had become a close friend. After persuading Ryuga to not use his special move, it really looked like Kyoya could win. But in the end L-Drago triumphs and Kyoya suffers the same fait as Hikaru and Tsubasa
