Despite an amazing game against Team Best, the Spikes are disheartened to be kept out of the semi-finals. As a result, the girls, especially Jo, have their doubts about the Myth of the Torch and their future. Grace worries that Spikersfield will be lost and that she will need to find a new job in a new town, but Luther and Armand help her find new hope to put the Spikes back in the tournament.
