What's the deal with the Xenomorph? (and H. R. Giger) (1x17)

This is something a lot darker than what I usually talk about, and a lot more... intense, honestly. I have a strong personal relationship to the xenomorph and its character design, and to the works of H.R. Giger, who consider the cinematographer of every nightmare I had from ages 6-15
