The Starduke is forced to land on the planet Djavel Barg to pick up a corrupt diplomat, who is to be charged with fraudulent dealings with the Consortium. The landing awakens the last two survivors of the planet, who see in the prisoner the reincarnation of King Mouandibi, the master criminal who was responsible for their planet's misfortune.
