Elsa and Laurent Lacaze are in perfect love. They live with their teenage daughter, Lucie, on the heights of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a small remote village in the Alpes-de-Hautes-Provence. One morning, Elsa disappears while jogging. Laurent does not believe in a voluntary disappearance, but the gendarmes are struggling to take the case seriously. Laurent and Lucie's world collapses when they realize that Elsa was hiding a lot of things from them.
