"The owl's lair" is an ecological cottage gathering several wooden cabins nestled in the trees, to reconnect with nature. It is in one of these cabins that the body of Diane Mainville, the owner of the premises, is found. If everything indicates a passionate dispute, Commander Lacombes and Captain Mizon are wary of appearances and will take an interest in Solène Guillou, a particularly devoted employee.
