A former criminal mastermind, Thomas Bareski, has set himself the task of bringing justice to destitute families who have been victims of a crime that has gone unpunished. When his van arrives in Arles to investigate the murder of a young woman, Bareski is certain that she is the third victim of a killer who has been operating in the region since 2012. But this time, he won't be the only one to want to find this criminal, an enigmatic woman will join him.
