Sílvia and Alma have coffee together. Laerte arrives at work in shorts and sneakers, after running on the boardwalk, and Antonia prepares coffee for him. Vengeful, Sílvia warns Alma about an affair between Pedro and Íris, who is a minor. Capitu takes his father to the optician. Fred tells his mother about Clara's problem. Camila meets Roberto at college. Capitu gets two weeks off from Fernando, but then he must get back to 'work'. During a visit to Edu, Ciça tells Alma that her father is in love with Helena. After listening to a message from Edu to Helena on the answering machine, Camila calls Roberto. Capitu promises his mother a new stove and washing machine. Iris makes the bed in Pedro's room and is surprised by Alma.
