At the start of this whole series, when Atsushi and Masa got the real reason behind Ushijima's abduction of Nina, they called him out. They put their reasoning to the test. After learning the truth, Atsushi and Masa stand up to settle this event. Atsushi goes to see Nina. Nina listens quietly to Atsushi's detailed, but sincere account of the events. Then, Atsushi, Masa, and Ushijima wait for Nina at the apartment where she was abducted that day.
