Elisa Bergman had to work for the DYP in order to avoid prison. Never short of ideas to get out of a bad situation, she calls on a former member of the team to come to her rescue. This help will not be too much to investigate a particularly atrocious murder: a young woman was asphyxiated after her mouth was stapled. Elisa wonders about the symbolism of this gesture: did the victim have a truth that they wanted to prevent her from revealing? Following this lead, she and Rocher will unearth an old case, where justice has been flouted and a monstrous man is allowed to go free.
