After a drug bust blows up in the Rangers faces, Matt is taken to a hospital in San Francisco. Jesse and Cody leave the mountain and go to San Francisco to track the man who injured Matt and killed two other Rangers. The Hawkes decide to stay in San Francisco as bounty hunters.
