Dynamic talk on the difficulties in communicating between different languages and cultures. Adam Karr graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2005 earning a degree in History and commissioning as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers. He earned a Master of Arts in English from the University of Virginia in 2014 where he focused primarily on translation studies. A veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, he is currently serving as an instructor of English and Cultural Studies at West Point.
