A sniper shoots randomly at passers-by in downtown Wiesbaden. A little later a bank is robbed nearby. The perpetrators escape and take three hostages with them. One of them is Commissioner Winnie Heller. The hostage-takers entrench themselves in a factory and demand several million ransom money. While her colleague Verhoeven is investigating together with the BKA, Winnie has her ID card disappeared as a precaution. But the escalation threatens when not only the commissioner is exposed, but also shots are fired and a hostage is fatally hit. “Silhouette” is the fourth crime thriller in the ZDF Saturday crime series “Commissioner Heller”, the youngest commissioner at ZDF.
