Splitting Up the Combination!? Satoshi and Rotom (21x54)

Rotom, accompanied by a very reluctant Satoshi, is visiting the set of his favorite TV show Alolan Detective Laki. When Rotom jumps in to point out script continuity problems, the director decides to offer him a guest appearance as himself on the show! Rotom's constant rehearsing at the Pokémon school bugs the heck out of everybody. But then the director offers to make the guest appearance a permanent role, which is Rotom's dream come true, and he accepts, which means that Rotom and Satoshi will have to split up. Satoshi is furious, and he and Rotom quarrel and part ways. Lilie has a serious talk with Satoshi which helps him better understand, while Rotom realizes that he has a dream that does not include acting on a TV show. The two apologize to each other and become friends again. Meanwhile, Eievui has had the best day ever playing with Pikachu and the gang, but when they go home at the end of the day, it realizes that it's lonely.
