The famous winemaker Benjamin Lebel and his collaborator Mathilde come appraise the field of Ubayres in Beaune, Cote-d'Or. But a hailstorm suspend operations. After examining the damage on the plots, Benjamin Lebel discovers the corpse of a young woman in underwear. The victim was a seasonal, well known to most of the property of employees.
