Michael Molin has been a front-line police officer for 17 years. In December 2004, together with his colleague, he is the first man at the accident scene, where a small child has been killed in a traffic accident. Michael does not tell anyone within the police how he subsequently has recurring nightmares and breaks down on the anniversary of the accident. No one ever asks how he is. He just continues his police work, as is expected of him. 15 years later, Michael decides to do something about the experience that was never processed.
