In 2018, the region around Egmond aan den Hoef was under the spell of the so-called 'serialstabber'; a ruthless perpetrator who stabbed running and cycling women completely randomly from his car. In 2019 he strikes again in Barsingerhorn, a village near Schagen. Police and Justice are on edge and, after a blood-curdling investigation and technical investigation, manage to track down the culprit.

Gangs of traveling pickpockets and shoplifters have been a major problem in Amsterdam for years. In 2014, a police officer raised the alarm when he caught the same perpetrators over and over again: children, mostly from the Balkans. Sometimes not even ten years old. These children are driven by adults and dragged from city to city to steal. Police and Justice decide to set up a national investigation team and eventually arrest two people from a criminal family who uses children to commit crimes.

In the early morning of 13 May 2016, 51-year-old Anita van Dijk was found seriously injured on the street in the Rotterdam district of Delfshaven. She appears to have been stabbed while delivering newspapers. A week later she dies in hospital from her injuries. A passionate team of the Rotterdam police, forensic specialists and the Public Prosecutor are doing everything they can to find the perpetrator of this brutal murder.

In February 2014, the Netherlands was in an uproar by the criminal duo Antonio Marcos van der P. and Enise Merve B., who soon became known as 'the Dutch Bonnie & Clyde'. The couple leaves a trail of violence and destruction in, among others, the Drenthe Echten, Meppel and on a campsite near Enschede. The Dutch police are looking with all their might for the two. After an intensive manhunt, the couple is handcuffed in a German hotel room. Under the leadership of Rick Nieman, the investigative leaders of the police, the Public Prosecutor and other directly involved will tell how they managed to bring this nationwide manhunt to a successful conclusion and answer questions from the public.
