Meet the Kittens

The story starts before the kittens arrive, and we see the expectant mothers' nervous visit to the vet. How many kittens will there be? We watch the trials and tribulations for the first nine weeks of their little kittens' lives.

It's a tough life being a newborn kitten. There's so much sleeping and eating to do. All 11 kittens are starting to develop and their mothers are busy cleaning and feeding them. Their eyes are opening for the first time. Something arrives to make the mums take action to keep all of their kittens safe.

The kittens are on the move again! This time, it is the lawnmower which sparks our protective mothers into action. Also in this packed episode, it is time for the humans to take action too, to ensure the kindle of kittens is free from nasty worms.

Our kittens are growing up fast and finding their feet. The family's home is in need of essential roof repairs, so the kittens are on the move yet again. The kittens continue to find new things to investigate and of course there is still time for a bit of play fighting. Unwanted fleas threaten to infect our feline family.

The kittens are growing fast and, with all of this playing, it is time that they had more than just milk to build their strength and help them grow. The kittens are introduced to tasty solid kitten food. Still plenty of time to be weighed and wormed before bedtime though.

Now that the kittens are eating solid food, it is time for them to learn how to use a litter tray. Playtime is far more interesting - the kittens discover a variety of different toys as they develop their hunting and chasing skills. But are they brave enough for the hoover?

Children and the kittens play games together, but they are growing up fast and soon it will be time for them to go to new homes. The kittens are photographed to help find loving new homes for them.

The kittens come across a mirror for the first time. They also get used to noises and play with home-made toys as well as the litter tray.

The kittens try collars on for the first time. They are not too sure what to make of the wild rabbit that Cleo has bought home for them. Meanwhile, Coco and Cleo are taken to the vets to get spayed to ensure that they don't have any more litters of kittens.

At nearly ten weeks old, it's time to say goodbye to our 11 kittens. But, before they can leave their mums, the kittens have to get checked by the vet and have injections, to keep them healthy. The kittens begin to leave their mums as excited new owners arrive to collect them. They leave to start a new life with a loving human family.
